The Mini Schnoodle is an active designer crossbreed whose parents are the Schnauzer and the Miniature Poodle. Due to the various sizes of Poodles, Schnoodles can also be toy-sized and giant, as well as standard. These dogs were mainly bred for companionship, but also make excellent therapy and service dogs thanks to their obedient, protective, and devoted nature.
The Mini Schnoodle will love the entire family, but not equally. They will always form a stronger bond with one particular family member over the rest. This intelligent breed is highly intelligent but also stubborn, which can make training difficult. These dogs may not be suited for first-time owners as they tend to be dominant and in need of a firm training hand.
The Mini Schnoodle is an active pooch that requires a lot of daily exercise. They also need plenty of mental stimulation as well, otherwise they will become destructive and difficult to handle. Mini Schnoodles do well in apartments due to their size, however they do tend to bark quite a bit if not trained properly. Early socialization is necessary for this breed to limit their barking to company at the door.
Mini Schnoodles are a low-shedding breed, which makes them suitable for allergy sufferers. These dogs tend to suffer from separation anxiety and should not be left alone for long periods of time.
